Tai Kamiya

Crest: Courage

Tai is the leader of the group, he is also the one who started the "goggle boy" leader trend. Tai acts heartless, but he isn't. Tai is the best leader over all. At 1st Tai thought being a leader was about giving orders but soon finds out that empathy & compassion are important for building & leading a team. Tai worries a lot about Kari because she gets sick a lot but never says anything, and one time see almost died & he blamed himself. In Adventure 2 Tai is a junior in high school & acts as a guide for the new team.

Matt Ishida

Crest: Friendship

Partner: Punimon, Tsunomon, Gabumon, Garurumon, WereGarurumon, MetalGarurumon

Matt is the rebel of the group, he doesn't like being told what to do because he has been on his own for so long, which is why he fights with Tai a lot. Matt has a lot of issues, both with family & friends. His parents got a divorce when he was younger & his dad took him & his mom took T.K.Matt believed that his sole purpose in life was to protect his little brother, but eventually he was pushed away by T.K. who told him he didn't need him. Matt is really sensitive but tries to hid it. His biggest problem is friendship, he doesn't trust easily & believes friendship & loyalty are just words, but through the actions and words of his wise wolf partner Gabumon, Matt learns that they are more than just words & they matter. In Adventure 2 Matt is a junior in high school & has his own band called "The Teenage Wolves."

Sora Takenouchi

Crest: Love

Partner: Nyokimon, Yokomon, Biyomon, Birdramon, Garudamon, Phoenixmon

Sora is serious & sometimes negative, she constantly feels like everyone is counting on her & she's afraid of letting everyone down. She is a tomboy. Sora believed that she wasn't able to love & that her mother didn't love her because they would always fight. Sora worried that her crest would never glow because she didn't know how to love, but when her partner Birdramon was in trouble Sora was able to activate her crest because she was afraid of losing her best friend. In Adventure 2 Sora is a junior in high school & quits playing soccer & starts playing tennis.

Mimi Tachikawa

Crest: Sincerity

Partner: Yuramon, Tanemon, Palmon, Togemon, Lilymon, Rosemon

Mimi is a very annoying person. She's obsessed with pink and has always been treated like a princess. Obviously Mimi didn't like the digital world with it's, "survival of the fittest" way of life. She's probubly only alive because of her partner Palmon

Kari Kamiya

Crest: Light

Partner: YukumiBotamon, Nyaromon, Salamon, Gatomon, Angewomon, Magnadramon

Kari is the 8th digidestined child, she gets sick a lot because she has a weak immune system. She always puts others ahead of herself, which leads to problems. She may seem weak but she has a strong heart & when someone is in trouble she does all she can to help, even if she doesn't know them. Kari is fearless, tough, & never gives up when she's needed.Kari has strange magical powers that are never fully explained. This is 1st seen in ep 49 "The Crest of Light" where she tried to protect the Neumamon & she started to glow in a white light, giving the Digimon the power to digivolve, even though they were low on energy.The Neumamon kept calling her "Queen Kari." Later in the same ep the Dark Master, Machindramon attacks & Sora, T.K., & even Tai were afraid, but Kari fearlessly walks over to him, & when the Neumamon died trying to save her she started to glow, making Agumon Warp-digivolve into WarGraymon, & giving him enough power to kill Machindramon with 1 hit.

T.K. Takaishi

Crest: Hope

Partner: Poyomon, Tokomon, Patamon, Angemon, MagnaAngemon, Seraphimon

T.K starts out as a cry. But toughens up as a result of the digital world's cruelty. When Devimon was killed, Patamon lost so much energy he changed into a digi-egg.

Izzy Izumi

Crest: Knowledge

Partner: Pabumon, Motimon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, MegaKabuterimon, HerculesKabuterimon

Izzy is the computer whiz of the team & he would rather be with his laptop then than a person. This is because he heard his parents talking about a secret they were keeping from him. Izzy later finds out that they aren't his real parents & that his real parents died in a car accident. Tentomon helps Izzy get away from his computer & be around people more. Izzy's favorite word is prodigious. In Adventure 2 Izzy helps the new digidestined whith the computer stuff & keeps an eye on them when they are in the Digital World. Izzy is a sophmore in high school.
