Diablomon Strikes Back

The latest Digimon film introduces the world to the new X-Digimon for the first time in beautiful cgi form. The main characters featured in the film are X-Digimon Dorumon, who is the main character of this film. The film centers on the issue of the Digital World being too crowded with digimon. The main computer, Yggdrasil, that hosts the Digital World decides to create a new digital world free of the current ones overcrowding problems and other difficulties such as the Digital Hazard. A genocide program called Project Ark, which involves the X-Program, is initiated by Yggdrasil and is carried out with a vengence by a very ruthless version of Omnimon aka Omegamon. The X-Program is a deletion protocol that destorys Digimon who are not immune to it. The ones who are immune to the X-Program carried within their bodies an antibody called the X-Antibody which grants them immunity. Thrown into the middle of this conflict, the young X-Digimon Dorumon must learn his reason for existing and what is his ultimate destiny. The ultimate core idea of the film is that the digimon of the old world must fight to survive what amounts to absolute genocide of most of them by a core computer afraid of losing control over its creations. The film is partially based on the new Digimon Chronicle universe storyline minus the human characters. This time around the story focuses only on the digimon and their battle for survival. The character of Dorumon holds the key within himself to be either a savior or destroyer. The revelations of the X-Antibody and what the future will be for the digimon and their world are revealed in this film. The film's main lesson is purely centered on learning that the digimon themselves have a right to determine their own destiny free from control or oppression. The messages that most fans are farmiliar with from the past digimon seasons and movies are present in this film. The other main characters of X-Evolution include old favorites the Royal Knights: Omegamon aka Omnimon, Magnamon, Dukemon aka Gallantmon, Leomon, Tokomon aka the baby form of Patamon as well as many others from the past. Introduced for the first time are the X-forms of WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Omegamon aka Omnimon So is Dorumon a hero or destroyer? Heh. you'll have to watch the movie to get the answer for yourself.
