Digimon Tamers is the 3rd series & the only digimon series that is even close to as good as Adventure. It's about a group of digimon fans, Takato, Rika, & Henry who find out that Digimon is more than a tv show & card game & that digimon really exist. Again a team of humans and digimon must unite to defend the world. But this time the war rages on the real world's side. Takato and his team must face the 'wild ones'and keep their partner digimon safe and unseen at the same time.But with Hypnos on their trail it's not like the same old adventure. What is a Tamer, Modify Card, Blue Card, & D-Power? Tamers are digidestined who help their digimon in battle by using Modify cards. Modify cards are digimon cards from the trading card game that give the partner added power to fight. D-Powers are the digivices of Digimon 3. They act like the regular digivice except for the added ability to use Modify cards. Modify cards are used by slashing the card through the card reader side of the D-Power. The Blue card is a mysterious card that when slashed trough a normal card reader brings a digimon partner to the Real world & changes the card reader into a D-Power, after that the card disappears. The card sometimes reappears when the partner is in danger. The card can be used to Matrix-Digivolve the digimon partner to his or her Ultimate form. |
